Last Dance For Grandma in Three Acts Performance 45 minutes 2016/2017
SYNOPSIS
Last Dance for Grandma in Three Acts is a solo performance that explores documentary language and interactive strategies to construct an autobiographical journey revolving around the idea of “natural death’. The work originates from my personal archive of images – collected over the past 15 years. Using projection mapping techniques, the visual archive is used to create an immersive installations that serves as the set for ‘the last dance’. The choreograph was created by the Japanese Butoh artist Yukio Suzuki and the final piece results from a collaboration with stage director Fernanda Bond.
